| Pros And Cons Of Network Marketing |
You've heard the good stuff about network marketing, but you may have also heard some of the bad stuff. If you're considering network marketing, this article will give you some good things to look to when thinking about it, and some things you need to watch out for.
3 Advantages to Network Marketing Network Marketing has many up sides. Three of them are listed below.
-Different tasks If you are a multitasker and don't like to do the same thing over and over every day, network marketing definitely provides new things to do each day. Most people don't like to fall into that same old rut, and network marketing pretty much ensures this won't happen. If you're able to complete several different tasks at once, network marketing is for you. Just make sure you are able to get all your tasks completed effic- iently and on time, and you'll do fine.
-Working on your own schedule You don't like waking up every morning and sitting through rush hour to be late to work and be hassled by a boss, right? Of course not; no one does. With network marketing, this will not happen. You decide when you work and when you don't work. You can work with whatever flexibility best fits your schedule, because you have other things going on in your life. Picking up the kids from soccer practice, taking college courses, whatever. Working on your own time allows you to get your work done on time but also to take care of all your other responsibilities.
-Doing what you want to do Lots of times in regular every day jobs, people have to perform tasks that bore them, that they're not good at, or that just simply seem tedious to them and that they don't want to do. With network marketing, people can do the work they want to do, and leave out all the rest. This is a big beauty of network marketing. You're in control of what you do.
3 Disadvantages to Network Marketing As with everything, there's always a downside to everything positive. Three disadvantages to network marketing are as follows.
-No motivation Often when people are in charge of themselves, it's not easy to keep yourself motivated. This is one of the biggest problems with network marketing. People may put off their jobs for a few hours, then until the next day, then the next week, and before they know it, their deadline has passed. You've got to make sure you keep on your work and avoid the temptation of letting it slide. The more your work slides, the more your success and business will slide as well. So make sure you keep working hard, and giving it your all and you will event- ually succeed.
-Not knowing where to get help If you're stuck on something with your network marketing business, you might need help on it, but you may not know where to look or who to go to. Often times people don't want to ask for help at all, but the truth is, everyone needs help at some point. Asking for help is not a weakness. It will be much more embarrassing to see your business fail than it will be to ask for help on something you're stuck on. It can eventually be the down- fall to your business if you don't get the problem taken care of.
-Not being social In order to succeed in network marketing, you have to be social on the Internet. If you are not social and tell no one about your business, no one will know. How will people buy your products if no one knows about them? Even if you're shy about advertising, hire someone else who's not. Get your name out there and let people know about your business. This is how to gain success and popularity through network marketing.

| Network Marketing and you | Whether you own a business or are an enthusiastic entrepreneur looking for a successful career, network marketing may often be the answer to these situations. Either way you go, there are different tasks you need to complete in order to ensure successful network marketing. Things you need to do and make sure of when you own a business are different than things you must do if you're looking to start your own business.Network marketing will not necessarily help you start your own business, but it can help 'get your foot in the door', so to speak, with other companies, it'll get your name out there, and it will give you lots of necessary experience you need in order to run your own business. The article below explains network marketing and how it relates to you, no matter what your situation is.
Network Marketing For Business Owners This is probably the most complicated of the three categories of this article. When you own a business, you want to make sure that you stay successful. In order to do this, there are a few things you need to make sure of when considering network marketing. First off, you need to know that what you're attempting to sell will be good for the network marketing area. Network marketing is often done over the Internet, so you'll want to be positive that your product is able to be sold over the Internet. Secondly, you'll want to be sure that ordinary people can sell your product, and that ordinary people will buy your product. This is one of the biggest keys to success in the area of network marketing. Research the type of product you're selling and see how successful it's been with network marketing in the past. You're likely to have more competition, but you'll have a better chance at succeeding.
Network Marketing For Entrepreneurs If you're an entrepreneur wanting to get your own business underway, network marketing can be an excellent place to begin. Network marketing will give you an inside as to what it's like to sell and advertise for your own products (of course, the products aren't specifically yours, but when you invest into a certain company and sell for them, you now own part of that company). You'll want to invest in a company that is already successful or that is obviously becoming successful very quickly. If the business goes under, you will lose your investment. You must do your share of the work, though, as well. If you depend solely on the business for your success without thinking you have to do any work, you will not reach your goals. You have to work for what you want.

| The Money Is In The List | "The Money Is In The List" by: Joel Broughton
This phrase has been prominently quoted and repeated by every single successful Internet Marketer in the world. And it's really true.
If you're not building your Prospect/Customer List, then you're building someone else's list. I want you to realize this fact. First and foremost, to be successful in a business of any kind you need to have a customer or prospect list that you can communicate with.
The Elite Marketing Center System (EMC) is designed to help you build your list, develop a relationship with that list and then market your products and services to that list automatically through an Autoresponder.
Every single successful business in the world has a customer list or customer base that they draw from to gain repeat sales and repeat business. Retail business owners will all tell you that one of the most important factors in their success is their LOCATION. Why is that? Well, it's because if they have a "high traffic" location, then potential customers will decide to come to their store because it's close to where they live or work or shop. And this results in repeat business due to location.
Now what does that have to do with Internet Marketing? Everything!
You see, the Internet is an electronic communication media that is so vast that an actual "location" on the internet will not make a huge difference in the success of your business. However, Where Does Every Single Internet User "Travel To" On a Daily Basis?
Their Personal Email Inbox.
This is our "Location" in an Internet Business. So if you are regularly appearing in their Personal Email Inbox with information, help, support, and sales offers that interest them, then they are most likely to take you up on your offer.
Thus, the Bigger We Build Our List. = The Better Our Online Location. = The More Success We Will Have Online.
Remember, the BEST LOCATION to be on the Internet is in your Prospects Email Inbox.
This should all be starting to make sense to you now. To be successful on the Internet (and in any business) your business needs to be constantly exposed to your potential customers. We are going to accomplish the constant exposure to your prospects through automatic emails being sent to them from our Autoresponder (which is our automatic email system that will deliver pre-written emails to your prospects for you).
To be successful as an Internet Marketer (or Network Marketer) you need to:
== > Build A List == > Build a Relationship and Market To Your List == > Cash Your Checks
We will accomplish the above with your Elite Marketing Center System by using a fully automated, Autoresponder system that comes with your very own pre-written email autoresponder campaign that automatically follows-up with your EMC members and prospects for you for 365 days on auto-pilot.
And you will also have 24/7 access to your list, in case you choose to personally communicate anything you want to your prospect list; such as new training, marketing tips, or an offer of a product or service...you decide how often and what you will communicate to your list.
REMEMBER: EMC is a FRANCHISE. Everything is already pre-written and set-up for you. You do not have to personally write or communicate with your members if you choose not to, the Autoresponder will already do that for you.
Your Autoresponder Is The Most Important Tool In Your Internet Marketing Business.
Here's why:The majority of the people who visit your website will not "buy or enroll" on their first visit. In fact, most people do not buy a product on the Internet until they've seen it or heard about it at least 7 times. Think about this yourself... How many times did you hear about the Elite Marketing Center before you actually signed up? If it's any less than 7 times, you're a little unusual. ;-)
Actually, the Elite Marketing Center sales page is so effective, that many people do actually enroll on their 1st or 2nd visit. But the point is, most people need multiple exposures to a product or service before they buy it.
With Elite Marketing Center, many people will enroll on their first exposure, but won't actually understand the system or how it can help their business, until after they've received a few email communications from your autoresponder.
If you go out and spend a bunch of time and money promoting a product on the Internet and you don't have an effective way to capture and follow-up with your website visitors to remind them about the products or services that you are promoting, you will lose a lot of sales. For example, let's say you get 100 visitors to your EMC sales page and out of those 100 new visitors, 2 people sign up the same day. Well, you might be happy with that, but I'm not... If you're going to send 100 people to your EMC sales page, I want you to get the most signups possible... at least 10.
But 10 out of 100 people are not going to sign up on their first visit unless these are people you personally know who already trust your recommendations. However, if your EMC sales page captures 100 subscribers after you send 100 visitors to it and you are using the autoresponder, you have a very good chance of automatically converting 10 or more of those 100 subscribers to EMC customers in the future through your automated follow-up autoresponder/newsletter series.
Remember, whenever someone visits your EMC website and signs up for the FREE course, they will be automatically followed up with for over a year. And all of those follow-up messages are working on your behalf to provide value, build trust and ultimately lead your subscriber to buy one of your affiliate products and/or sign up for the EMC service under YOU.
Because your EMC page works to capture your visitor's name and email address in the process of introducing them to the Elite Marketing Center system, sending visitors to your EMC website will automatically build your subscriber list in autoresponder which gives each of your visitors a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, etc... exposure to your recommended products and opportunities. This additional exposure through your automatic email follow-up series gently reminds your visitors about your site and gives them the opportunity to sign up when the time is right for them.
See, people don't say no to you. People usually only say no to an opportunity if the timing is not right for them. By capturing subscribers on your website and following up with them via your Autoresponder, you will still be there when the timing IS right for them. And you won't have to lift a finger to do this. It's all 100% automated and handled for you 24/7/365! That's the beauty of the Internet...
You never have to *personally* experience rejection! The system does all the sorting, qualifying and selling for you — automatically!! ;-) So, optimizing your Autoresponder is very, very important since your Autoresponder is your tireless, auto-pilot salesman working for you every moment of the day to follow-up with your website visitors, build trust, handle objections and ultimately make the sale for YOU.
Even if you hired someone and only paid them $10 per hour to do everything that your Autoresponder will be doing for you, you'd have to spend thousands of dollars per month. But, you don't have to pay thousands of dollars a month for an employee because you are smart and you are building an Internet business where 99% of the grunt work can be automated through powerful technologies like your Autoresponder.
I want you to make a long-term commitment to yourself, your Internet Success, and EMC.

| Too Much Attention Has Been Put On "Retention" In Network Marketing. | Too Much Attention Has Been Put On "Retention" In Network Marketing. By: Joel Broughton
In the traditional marketplace we call it "repeat business" rather than retention, and repeat business is generally created by the customer wanting to purchase the product or service and being happy with the product and product value, so they will then buy again.
Retention involves promoting to your current customers. Advertising involved promoting to get new customers.
The Key To Growth In Any Business Is To Continuously Attract New Customers.
Here's where Network Marketing falls flat on it's face.
Network Marketing companies teach you to recruit customers and other networkers. But they forget to teach you how to properly advertise to reach those markets. Instead most people chase and sell to people that are not actually interested in purchasing the product or service and then you end up with a customer in your business that is not completely happy with what they are buying...which leads to your Attrition. Then the company tells you to spend your whole day working with that group of customers to get them to keep buying.
What they're creating is basically a job for you. You are the "Manager" of those 20 people... please make sure they are educated, buying regularly and happy.
I'm Here To Tell You That This Is A Joke
If you want a job, go get a job. If you want a business, then act like a business owner. Business owners are not concerned about the 1's and 2's. Business owners are concerned with the %'s and increases in new business. Attrition is a fact of life (and business), so stop spending all day trying to figure out how to save one or two people. You need to figure out how to sponsor 100 more...and how to do it as quick as you can, then get another 100.
You should have a SYSTEM in place which leverages your time and skills to be able to promote to your existing customers...conference calls, autoresponders, etc. Your time needs to be spent attracting NEW CUSTOMERS.
If we advertise correctly and bring people in to our "stores" that want to purchase our products and services or want to work with us, you'll be less worried about retention...and more concerned with how do I get more and grow?
A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing
Be careful.
You will run into many people in Network Marketing that tell you they want to work hard and will "do what it takes to succeed". It's not what they say that's important. It's what they DO!!
Don't get sucked in to spending time with 1 person, 1 on 1, when they don't DO anything. They need to earn your time.
If they get started with you and do nothing...how productive are they for your business? Well. Really, they're just one customer. ONE CUSTOMER. It's really not that hard to replace one customer. But if they start working and sponsoring people, that's the person you will spend your time with.
Hopefully this can open the eyes of just one new person to this industry to understand that we need to run a business here, not a babysitting service for adults.

| Another Day Another Blog | Another Day Another Blog by: Joel Broughton
A lot of marketers seem so confused when it comes to building an online business. Why is there such confusion on a massive scale...internet marketing is really very easy IF you follow a step-by-step guide.
You see, most so-called "internet marketers" are amateurs trying to make a quick buck and are simply just trying to "Get you" or trying to make a quick sale so they can take their $50 commission and run. Happy to be on their way.
The problem with that mentality is that now a huge phenomenon has been created, whereby amateurs are passing themselves off as professionals, and teaching other amateurs what works and what doesn't...when in reality they don't know themselves, otherwise they wouldn't still be part-time amateur...they would be full-time professionals.
All the hype, all the guarantees, all the crap you might as well flush down the toilet, because most of it is barely worth the website that it's written on.
Forums nowadays have also gotten out of hand. Newbies go there looking for help, and get bombarded with answers and "secrets" and negativity about businesses that it's hard to get motivated to start their business. They become so overwhelmed and confused that it forces some into a complete stall and information overload.
But I guess a bright light will come from all of this technology and information. The strong builders and professionals will always rise above the rest giving good solid knowledge to the industry, despite the garbage been set up everywhere.
It's comforting to know that amateur internet marketers will always hide behind their computer because they know that if they physically speak to people they will be found out for what they are...and everyone will realize how little they really know.
This will continue to separate us from them. This will continue to show our integrity over those trying to make a quick buck by "tricking" people. And I will remain proud that we can provide quality systems, quality training, and a quality opportunity for those willing to learn, practice and apply our systems and techniques.

| Still Amazed at the Lack of Duplication | Still Amazed at the Lack of Duplication by: Joel Broughton
To this day I am still amazed at the lack of good internet marketing education and lack of duplication in our industry.
I can't quite figure out why successful internet marketers would not want to create leverage through teaching and duplicating their success in others. As I continue to watch their efforts, they continually...build a list...sell to list...build a list...sell to list. However the funny thing is what they keep selling are one-time sales. No recurring sales or profits...which forces them to continue doing so, day in and day out....with no real end in sight.
Now don't get me wrong. You can make alot of money online, once you've figured out how to properly build and maintain a list of subscribers. Regardless of what you plan to sell, you can get interested people to subscribe to your list and then buy what you're selling.
So why choose one-time sale type products? It's easier...faster...more profitable.
In my eyes, I would still prefer to build a business where we gather a base of customers that purchase products or services on a recurring basis, which creates a long-term wealth for you and your family. Especially if the customers love the products that you are marketing to a point where they will purchase that product or service with no other reason than how good it is and what is does for them.
And why not do both? If you are already successful in building lists, why not combine the power of list-building and referring to a product or service that includes recurring sales.
The Elite Marketing Center is our combination of just that. We teach people step-by-step methods to build their lists, then we teach them how to make recurring sales to their lists and finally include a product or service provided by a third party company to use as the main focus of their business, to create long-term wealth.
Build List - Create Immediate Cashflow - Build Long Term Wealth.
Make Sense?
It does to me.

| Failure Lane leads to Success Road | Failure Lane leads to Success Road by: Joel Broughton
It's funny, alot of people ask me how to get true success in their business and how to develop long term residual income. It's also funny that when you tell these people how to get there, they simply nod their head and then carry on with "business as usual"
The best advice that I can give to a new entrepreneur (online or offline) - is to get going as fast as you possibly can. Here's why:
In every business people make mistakes and are bound to fail. But a small mistake or small failure doesn't mean you should quit trying. If I had quit trying the first time I failed, I would never had created a system that has developed from 2 to over 14000 members in just 2 short months, and then to over 240,000 in less than 2 years.
Someone Famous once said "You learn more from Failure, than you do from Success"
....So guess what folks...I'm going to start failing like crazy...starting now. Because trying and failing means I'm that much closer to success. If I keep trying enough, I will eventually get it right.
Don't ever quit your Dreams and Goals. You will get there, you just have to fail some more first, so that you learn enough to become Successful.
Failure Lane leads to Success Road...
you just have to keep walking 'til you get there.
